Games to Grunts™ is an OSD Social Connectivity program providing video games to members of the military community via digital download codes. The program was started as a direct result of the trends in the gaming industry towards digital distribution and the desire to connect with our community directly. Many individuals who learn of OSD for the first time through Games to Grunts™ become engaged in OSD's other programs and services. 

Games to Grunts™ was named one of 16 "Top Veteran Resources" in 2019 by the Department of Veteran Affairs.

Games to Grunts™ is open to any member of the military community who qualifies for the ID.me Troop ID. This includes active service members, veterans and their families. Currently, ID.me is limited to service members from the United States and Canada.

ID.ME simplifies the identity verification experience for users. Once a user has verified their identity with ID.me, they never have to re-verify again anywhere that ID.me is integrated.

ID.me’s next-generation identity platform meets the highest federal standards for online identity proofing and authentication, without compromising access for hard-to-identify groups. ID.me’s technology is used by more than 13MM individuals and 350 partners, including federal and state agencies, healthcare organizations, financial institutions, retailers, and nonprofits.

It began when ID.me’s CEO and founder Blake Hall, a decorated Army Ranger, watched a military veteran display their DD214 separation paperwork to a store employee to claim a military discount. The document held far more information than was needed to verify military service. Exposing so much personal information for a single benefit was risky and unnecessary. There had to be a better way.

We do not have a specific day when games are added. Games are added when we acquire them and there is not a schedule. Much is dictated by our ability to administer and manage the program which is directly tied to our ability to maintain a team.

Neither Games to Grunts™ nor OSD provide console hardware or personal computers to individuals in any circumstances.

For specific instructions, please visit the page of the title on Games to Grunts. Each key has unique instructions depending on the content or whether you currently have an account on these games.

More than likely you requested more than the allotted number of keys for a specific game. See each individual game for limits. While you may be able to check-out with additional keys in your cart, fulfillment is capped.

If you do not believe this is the case, please wait at least one hour from completing your transaction and also check your spam filters. Also ensure that you correctly entered your email address when joining our program.

If there is still a question, please contact our support team.

If some of the titles show a key and others do not, this means you've previously requests those that are missing in a past order. Please check those orders.

Do not that multiple attempts to request previously allocated titles may result in suspension of your account.

Games allocated on Games to Grunts are all digital and delivered via email. Once an order is placed an initial email notification of the order will be sent to your email address. Shortly after, an email notification containing the keys/codes will be sent. See other FAQ articles for further troubleshotting.

Periodically, due to security, our system randomly deauthorizes the connection with ID.me. If your ID.me account in current and verified to the current standards, it is simple and fast reauthorization.

If you have issues with reauth, including a request for additional documents or see errors, please contact ID.me support directly.

• We reserve to suspend or permanently cancel any account for any reason at any time including:
• Show of behaviors that reflect a sense of entitlement
  
• Multiple attempts to request keys that have previously been allocated to a specific account
  
• Evidence or suspicion that a community member is selling keys allocated from our platform
• Attempts at exploiting any portion of or benefit from this program
• Unsubscribing or removing ourself from OSD/8-Bit Salute/Games to Grunts communications

If you cannot access your account and you believe there has been an error, please contact our support team.

If while attempting to connect your ID.me account with Games to Grunts you seem stuck in a loop asking for additional documentation or verification, please contact ID.me support directly at https://help.id.me. Games to Grunts requires a higher level of verification that the basic ID.me verification. The majority of ID.me users already meet this requirement, but if you do not, ID.me support can ensure you have the proper verification.

Please note that even if your ID.me account dashboard shows you are verified, this does not signify the requirements have been met.
